Park der Gärten horticultural centre in Bad Zwischenahn
In the heart of the scenic Ammerland region, the 14-hectare Park der Gärten offers a fascinating insight into garden design. At the visitor centre, the exhibition ‘Grüne Schatztruhe’ (green treasure chest) serves as an impressive taster of what the park has to offer. The park has a level network of pathways with good access for disabled visitors and disabled toilet facilities. Wheelchairs, handcarts and wheeled walkers can be hired free of charge at the park entrance. The park offers experiences for all the senses, including a touch garden with information in Braille, a scent arena, aromatic plants and a fragrance organ.
