Martinsfest - Ecumenical St. Martin's Festival 10.11.2021
The traditional St. Martin’s Festival takes place every year on the evening before the feast day of St. Martin, 10 November. It is dedicated not just to St. Martin of Tours, the city’s patron saint, but also to Martin Luther.
Thousands of people, including many children carrying Chinese lanterns, converge on Domplatz (Cathedral Square) from all directions, in order to be part of this great event.
