You can get closer to nature in the Polarium and Darwineum at Rostock zoo, in the IGA Park and in the Rostocker Heide forest, for example, which is also great for longer handbiking tours. The seaside resort of Warnemünde has one of the region’s most modern beach entrances for disabled visitors, and you can hire wicker beach chairs and floating wheelchairs for an enjoyable day by the sea.
