The seaside resort of Warnemünde is home to one of the region’s most modern beach entrances for disabled visitors. Entrance no. 4 (near the lighthouse) offers a full range of services for visitors with restricted mobility during the season. The shore of the Baltic Sea and the wicker beach chairs can be reached on a non-slip path. Along with wicker beach chair hire it is also possible to hire floating wheelchairs that enable visitors and their carer or companion to enjoy a dip in the Baltic Sea. Barrier-free toilets and parking are available right by the beach entrance.
Another barrier-free beach entrance is available in the seaside resort of Markgrafenheide from May to October.The path leads to the center of the beach. Barrier-free parking is directly at the beach.
