Audioguide Stadtrundgang Landau in Pfalz

The former fortress city is also called the garden city because of its many parks. A stroll through Landau is like a trip into the past. Almost all architectural styles of past centuries give the city its present face.

After the Thirty Years' War, France also claimed the medieval town on the Queich to secure its border: the start of massive fortifications and numerous sieges had a decisive influence on the town's development and determined the lives of its people.
