The Otto von Guericke Museum

The Otto von Guericke Museum and a permanent exhibition provides information about the life and work of Otto von Guericke (1602 - 1686), the famous naturalist and mayor. Guericke's life is illustrated with the help of historical replica devices, pictures and documents as well as the demonstration of experiments. But the Klause, with its central city location, is also often used as an event, exhibition and conference venue. The museum is barrier-free for wheelchair users, there is an elevator in the building. Guided tours that take handicaps into account are offered. Admission is free.
