Castle and Park Oranienburg
In the year 1651,the Great Elector, Frederick I had the palace Oranienburg extended and splendidly equipped as a country seat for his first wife Louise Henriette. The castle now houses a collection of unique works of art, including a collection of paintings and examples of royal silver in the silver vault. In the 22-hectare castle park Oranienburg, baroque landscape art meets modern garden rooms. Recreation, cultural experience and nature enjoyment are very close together.
